I visited Shigeru Mizuki Road in Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture in late March.

Shigeru Mizuki Road is a commemorative street which themed around the world of yokai (Wikipedia) drawn by manga artist Shigeru Mizuki (Wikipedia), known for works such as “GeGeGe no Kitaro,” and bronze statues of yokai including Kitaro are on display.

The Shigeru Mizuki Memorial Museum was closed when I visited, so I mainly looked around at the yokai statues on the road. I enjoyed walking around in the daytime, but the Mizuki Shigeru Road lit up at night had a unique mood combined with the view of yokai world.

These are photos taken on the Shigeru Mizuki Road at night. It was dark, so I used a bright single focus lens. I forgot to take notes of the works, so I’ll skip over explanations.
